For me, travelling has always been far more meaningful than simply checking an item off my bucket list. The wonderful people I encounter along the way have confirmed that it truly is about the journey, not the destination. I try my best to capture the beauty of those connections through the art of storytelling and photography.

Danica DeverilL
Born and raised outside of Toronto, the question of, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” has been an on-going internal battle for as long as I can remember.
At 17 years old, the age society tells you to make up your mind and pursue a post-secondary degree, I decided upon the most “realistic” option I could think of. I would get a business degree and then apply to law school. During my last year of university, I had the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Portugal… and boy did I ever take it.
My plan to become a corporate lawyer quickly faded away, and my new-found love for Lisbon inspired me to dream bigger, regardless of how unrealistic it may seem. By relinquishing the need to know all the answers, I began to fall in love with the process of discovering who I am & the type of person I want to be.
I am so happy you decided to tag along on this journey and I hope sharing my experiences abroad will inspire you to also chase your dreams <3
