a bit about me…
Born and raised outside of Toronto, the question of, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” has been an on-going internal battle for as long as I can remember.
At 17 years old, the age society tells you to make up your mind and pursue a post-secondary degree, I decided upon the most “realistic” option I could think of. I would get a business degree and then apply to law school. During my last year of university, I had the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Portugal… and boy did I ever take it.
My plan to become a corporate lawyer quickly faded away, and my new-found love for Lisbon inspired me to dream bigger, regardless of how unrealistic it may seem. By relinquishing the need to know all the answers, I began to fall in love with the process of discovering who I am & the type of person I want to be.
I am so happy you decided to tag along on this journey and I hope sharing my experiences abroad will inspire you to also chase your dreams!
